Ever presented boundaries and ever imposed boundaries are allways presented in our life. In the sukkah and outside.
Just think of the amount constrains the sUKKAH IS SUBJECTED TO…..

We get rid and free ourselves from one restriction to find ourselves dealing with a new one. Our life is woven by boundaries.
I chose to design my Sukkah wall by an object which symbolizes a lot of restrictions, boundaries, borders….
Notr only our mind but even our body is brutally subjected to this object: THE MEASURE TAPE!
My sukkah wall consists of two parts/banners. On the left side of the image we see woven tapes (restrictions) and butterflies (freedom).
On the right side a metamorphosis occures. The measure tapes lose, get rid of all their numbers/size signs whereas the free butterflies turn into Measure Tape Butterflies.
The measure Tape carries only one number: 7 Its function as a measure tape is negated.
Size: 180cmx120cm
Medium: wood, acrylic
